On December 13, 2017 the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra premiered a new work entitled, Ritornello for flute, oboe, violin and strings. This was commissioned as a companion piece to J. S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto #2.
The soloists for the premiere were Laura McDougall, flute; Caitlin Broms-Jacobs, oboe; Karl Stobbe, violin. The orchestra was lead by Alexander Weimann.
