Three Little Piano Pieces (1986)

This short solo piano piece was composed for my father, an amateur pianist and music enthusiast.  My father’s musical tastes generally stopped at Brahms, with some tentative dips into Scriabin.  My Three Little Piano Pieces was an attempt to introduce him to a different kind of aesthetic, specifically 12 -tone music.  The short movements cover a wide range of aesthetic over the course of about 6 minutes.
