I have recently completed a new work for men’s choir (TTBB).  Madrigals is approximately 6 minutes in duration and consists of two movements: 1) The Shimmering; 2) Offerings.  This a cappella work is a setting of poetry by Joy Kogawa.

David’s Double Concerto for violin, cello and strings was performed by the Brandon Chamber Players in April 2015.  Great performances by Kerry DuWors, violin; Leanne Zacharias, cello and the BCP.  Julian Pellicano conducted.

December 2012–In the past few months, David has been making score corrections and revisions to a number of his existing works.  These works will appear in the catalogue of complete works as they become available.

David R. Scott has been invited to be the guest speaker at the AGM of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.  On May 13, 2011 David will give a talk about the composer’s perspective on setting poetry to music.
